Our Sanative Noir Soap dishes are made of North American beech wood. It's a sustainable hardwood grown in abundance and harvested here in North America. It has angeled channels which allows the water to quickly drain. It allows for your soap to completely dry.  Please always to remember to keep your soap bar out of direct streams of water. This ensures a long lasting hard bar of soap.
